In an effort to educate the masses a documentary was done on the rate of decomposition of McDonalds food.  Fittingly it is called  ‘The Decomposition of McDonalds Fries‘ by Debunker Sam.  Several McDonalds sandwiches and fries were placed in separate jars to see what would happen over time.  As a comparison a restaurant’s burger was placed in another jar for comparison.  The results were scary as the McDonald’s fries never decomposed after months.

This experiment explains why there is an obesity problem in the United States.  If food doesn’t decompose that means it doesn’t have nutritional value.  No nutritional value means that the consumer doesn’t have the necessary energy for the activity, and will be lazy.  That is an explanation why children are adverse to physical activity today, and in turn the child obesity problem.  Also if the food isn’t decomposing then it will store somewhere in the body, another contributing factor to people being overweight.

It is a vicious cycle because it is very expensive to eat healthy.  People may chose a healthier life style if they could afford it.  The bigger question is what type of chemicals are we ingesting, and what are the long-term ramifications.  This is the world we live in and we need to know what is really going on if we want to survive.
