Stephen Jackson and Metta World Peace spoke for the first time on camera about that fateful night in Detroit, when the Malice at the Palace occurred. Jackson did most of the talking, which was probably for the best. MWP still doesn’t seem to understand the gravity of the situation.
When Jackson relived the moments after the brawl, he mentioned that in the locker room MWP wondered aloud if they would get in trouble. Even in this interview, he seemed oblivious to how big of a deal that it was. But would you expect anything less from the player formally known as Ron Artest.
